== General Policies ==
'''0.)''' Admins may disregard any and all of these rules if they deem it in the best interest of the game or playerbase at large. They will be expected to defend their decision.
'''1.)''' The golden rule, respect your fellow player and don’t be a dick. We’re all here to have fun.
'''2.)''' Admins and Moderators have the final say. You’re free to appeal their decisions, but you’re expected to follow what they say or do as they ask. Rulings can be appealed after.
'''3.)''' Even if you break none of the major rules, the sum of your actions may be bannable. A history of bad behavior, smaller infractions, and other actions that generally don’t warrant a ban on their own could be lumped together as a reason, given it’s become a big enough problem.
'''4.)''' Staff members are to be held to a higher standard than players when it comes to the rules.
== Bannable Offenses ==
===Inappropriate Roleplay===
Content that detracts from the overall quality of the game and enjoyment of other players. Examples include, but are not limited to:
*Anything sexually explicit. This includes, most notably, ERP. Hand holding and kissing is fine, but anything more should stay in private and off of the game. If you think you’re going too far, you probably are.
*Gross, shocking, or overly morally reprehensible things should not be RP’d about. If you think the person, or people, you’re RPing with wouldn’t appreciate it, you probably shouldn’t do it.
*Excessive lore breaking. Blatantly making up your own setting lore and ignoring what’s established, roleplaying as existing characters from other mediums, joke characters, or simply not taking roleplay seriously.
*God-modding. Deciding your character can do anything, is never affected by the actions of anyone else, and other such things that belong in fan fiction. Also includes single-handedly deciding the time, *location, NPCs present, and other details of a scene without anyone else’s input.
===Poor Conduct===
Toxic and uncooperative interactions with other players. Examples include, but are not limited to:
*RP Evading. Logging off and walking away from scenes in order to avoid conflict or unfavorable circumstances for your character.
*Slaying other characters with very little build up, first encounter kills, and targeting characters lower level than you.
*OOC harassment. Things such as stalking, spreading false rumors, and targeting characters simply because of who play them.
*Disruptive behavior. As the name states, anything unwarranted that would upset the flow of a scene or event. Questions are welcome, random OOC arguing is not. If there’s a problem, as always, contact an admin.
===Cheating===
Breaking game mechanics for the sake of unfair advantage. Examples include but are not limited to:
*Exploiting bugs or other unintended features in the game for your own benefit. Reporting these immediately is your best course of action.
*Use of outside programs to affect the game.
*Alt interaction. Having your characters meet, exchange items, share information, and likewise. It’s fine to have more than one character, but they should never interact.
*Metagaming. Using information gained outside of the game or otherwise OOCly in an IC capacity. Just because you know something doesn’t mean your character would.
