Stability Point

A key facet of Void Geography.

Enigmatic and mind boggling phenomenon. Emanating from the core of The Planetoid, some manner of magical energy flows, providing some manner of protection from the worst of The Void's influence. Without it, any matter would quickly come apart at the seams, breaking down into its constituent elements and become undone.

The range extends roughly twenty-thousand kilometers outwards, just beyond the orbit of The Fifth Moon. Any further than this, and any complex matter will quickly break down to its basic forms, disintegrating any unfortunate life caught too far out into the void.

While nothing can be certain, one can only extrapolate that there are other Stability Points out in The Void elsewhere, keeping brilliant stars burning in the night sky.
