Cooking
Cooking is the art of creating food, ranging from simple meals to complex roasts and jerkies that invigorate whoever consumes them. Even learning a basic amount of cooking is advisable for most players, given the benefits of the Well-Fed buff conferred from most foods. Without cooking, the only item that can confer this bonus is Mystery Meal - which has a chance of giving you food poisoning, instead of a buff.

Food Buffs[edit]
Well Fed and Nature's Refreshment do not stack. Deer, Boar, Fish, and Frog buffs do not stack. You can only have ONE generic buff and ONE meat buff.

Food Preparation allows the cooking of simple meals, as well as preparation of spices, salt, and sugar.

Stews and Brews allows the creation of Veggie Bowls, Pork Bowls and Noodle Bowls as well as Mead and Wine.
Mead and Wine confer the Drunk debuff, which has a visual effect.
